I’ve listened to this track twice and both times, I’m not sure what song I’m hearing and then the chorus reaches out and smacks me. “And you ask me to hold you / That’s the devil’s work.” With the harmony, it comes out sounding as polished as the album version sounds spontaneous. The juxtaposition is something.
