nonbinary, lesbian, trans, and bi pride flags, constructed to be somewhat more visually distinct than the stripes ones (which is important, for people who have trouble w/ colors)
solomon’s knot, figure-8 knot, trefoil and different presentation of the trefoil, respectively.
the rainbow flag’s cool though? so i’m not suggesting any changes to that. the stripes make sense in making a rainbow…
people who see aliens who look like arthropods in movies like 90% of the time: these are scary, incomprehensible, and they probably have some kind of hive mind which is even more scary. we can never learn to communicate or live with them. if they harm us at all they must clearly be eradicated and we will never form an attachment to them.
beekeepers, according to this book i’m reading, apparently: this swarm of bees is my friend and i love them. all week i look forwards to being able to be among them and just hang out. i just feel so calm around them, yknow? sometimes they sting me though, haha. i used to have two hives but one of them died last winter because we had a cold snap and i cried for a week straight.
95% of the posts fighting abt pride on either side act like it’s this promised land and like not a vaguely mediocre party where you will probably run into at least one ex (or ex friend) and will most definitely run into at least 3 people you’ve talked to on some internet dating platform somehow
crazy idea: since i don’t actually have to finish all of this assignment now, but i do have to get more of it done tonight than what i have rn, what if, when i was stuck on one part of it…. i started doing a different part of it that i feel more confidently able to do
instead of just. sadly not making eye contact with the last 300 words of part 1 like i am somehow bound to write it all in exact chronological order
update: this was a great idea bc, as i somehow… forgot about, part 2 is entirely me pointing at various parts of reproductive science and going “hah! you thought this was [developed entirely for the benefit of cis cancer patients who risk infertility from chemo] but it is ALSO [potentially going to significantly benefit trans people esp. trans teens in an assortment of ways]”. and as it turns out that’s very fun to do
