The Trucks discord, as a tribute to Icelandic installation artist Ragnar Kjartansson – specifically to his piece “A Lot Of Sorrow”, in which The National played their song “Sorrow” for six hours over and over again without a break and in front of a live audience – will take part in “QUIPLAST” on Saturday, June 16th.
In “QUIPLAST” eight members of the discord (including such luminaries as @waterwarp, @somaisbatman, @nightpool and myself) will play Quiplash 2 from the Jackbox Party Pack 3 for six straight hours, while listening to A Lot Of Sorrow.
We are all already exhaustively familiar with every prompt that Quiplash 2 has to offer and a metagame has been established. If a funny joke happens over the course of this art project it will be by accident.
