this morning when I was in the state of not-quite-awake I thought to myself “all beans in the world taste almost the way a bean is supposed to taste, but not quite” and I felt like I was on the brink of some great truth

and then I woke up and sat up straight in bed bc I had no idea how beans are apparently supposed to taste but I knew I was about to know and now I probably never will.
